2. New edition of central pricing catalogue released

6. Notice on strengthening the price supervision of natural gas transmission and distribution issued
On July 3, the national development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the State Administration of Market Supervision issued the notice on strengthening the supervision of natural gas transmission and distribution prices (hereinafter referred to as the notice), which pointed out that the provincial pipeline transportation prices and urban gas distribution prices should be set reasonably. The price of natural gas transmission and distribution is determined according to the principle of “permitted cost + reasonable income”. According to the guidance on strengthening the supervision of gas distribution price, all localities should formulate gas distribution price management measures and verify the independent gas distribution price. The permitted rate of return should be no more than 7%, and the local government can appropriately reduce it in combination with the actual situation.
