Midland, Michigan, January 17, 2017 — global organic silicon, silicon technology and innovation leader Dow Corning today launched a new three high reflective coatings, and further enrich the LED innovation and the rapid growth of Dow Corning solutions portfolio. These three products greatly enhanced the design flexibility of LED packaging manufacturers, they are not only suitable for chip size package (CSP) and chip on board packaging (COB) design of these sophisticated LED, also offers a variety of processing solutions from traditional dispensing method to new printing process.

The three new silicone coating for WR-3001 die edge coating, WR-3100 coating and WR-3120 die edge reflecting paint belong to DowCorning? (Dow Corning?) brand series of products. To match the diversified needs of the customer process, will continue to launch new products in the Dow corning.

As with other reflective material of Dow Corning, these three coatings can maintain high reflectivity at low thickness, and keep its performance in high temperature 150 degrees C, and many other organic coatings will be broken and yellow at 150 ~ C. According to the hardness of the order from low to high, the three new products respectively:

WR-3001? Die edge coating has excellent thermal stability, dedicated to high power chip size package (CSP) application, and is applicable to traditional dispensing process.

WR-3100? Die edge coating for chip scale package (CSP) and the application of low power LED package design, and is suitable for the traditional dispensing process after curing; its hardness is up to 65D, can be used for chip cutting process.

? WR-3120: WR-3120 is a reflective coating hardness and the reflection of three new products in the highest, and has high thermal stability of light products, suitable for high power LED packaging and application of printing technology, can improve the performance of LED equipment.
